How to Play: Dish Mode
Dish Mode
Guess the secret Stardew Valley cooked dish of the day by comparing five attributes. Each guess gives color-coded feedback and directional arrows to guide you.
Dish Attributes
Dish mode compares these attributes:
- • Energy: energy restored when eaten.
- • Price: base sell price in gold.
- • Ingredients: number of ingredients in the recipe.
- • Source: how the recipe is learned — Queen of Sauce, Friendship, Skill, Starter or Special.
- • Buff: the buff the dish grants when eaten (or None).
- • Tip: green is an exact match; orange on Buff means a partial overlap.
Feedback
Each tile is color-coded:
- • Green: exact match with the secret dish.
- • Red: no match.
Arrows appear on Energy, Price and Ingredients.
- • Arrow Up (↑): the secret dish's value is HIGHER.
- • Arrow Down (↓): the secret dish's value is LOWER.
How to Play
- Make your first guess of any dish from the search list.
- Watch each attribute tile flip in sequence, revealing color-coded feedback.
- Read the green and red tiles to spot matching and non-matching attributes.
- Use the arrows on Energy, Price and Ingredients to narrow the range.
- Make your next guess based on all the feedback received.
- Continue until you correctly identify the secret dish!
- Return daily for a new dish to guess in Dish Mode.
Strategy Tips
- • Start with dishes you cook often to establish a baseline of attributes.
- • Source and Buff narrow the pool fast — many dishes share them.
- • Use the arrows to eliminate whole groups by energy, price or ingredient count.
- • About half of all dishes grant no buff — that split alone cuts the pool in two.
- • A dish must match ALL green feedback at once.
- • Source matches exactly; orange on Buff means a partial overlap.
Daily Challenge
