How to Play: Fish Mode
Fish Mode
Guess the secret Stardew Valley fish of the day by comparing five attributes. Each guess gives color-coded feedback and directional arrows to guide you.
Fish Attributes
Fish mode compares these attributes:
- • Difficulty: how hard the fish is to catch.
- • Time: the time of day it bites — Morning, Afternoon, Evening, or All Day.
- • Season: the season(s) you can catch it.
- • Weather: Sunny, Rainy or Any.
- • Area: the fishing spot(s) where it's found.
- • Tip: green is an exact match; orange on Season or Area means a partial overlap.
Feedback
Each tile is color-coded:
- • Green: exact match with the secret fish.
- • Red: no match.
Arrows appear on Difficulty.
- • Arrow Up (↑): the secret fish's value is HIGHER.
- • Arrow Down (↓): the secret fish's value is LOWER.
How to Play
- Make your first guess of any fish from the search list.
- Watch each attribute tile flip in sequence, revealing color-coded feedback.
- Read the green and red tiles to spot matching and non-matching attributes.
- Use the arrows on Difficulty and Size to narrow the range.
- Make your next guess based on all the feedback received.
- Continue until you correctly identify the secret fish!
- Return daily for a new fish to guess in Fish Mode.
Strategy Tips
- • Start with fish you know well to establish a baseline of attributes.
- • Behavior and Weather narrow the pool fast — many fish share them.
- • Use the arrows to eliminate whole groups by difficulty or size.
- • Season can partially match (orange) when it overlaps.
- • A fish must match ALL green feedback at once.
- • Behavior, Season and Weather match exactly (no arrows).
Daily Challenge
Return each day for a new secret fish. Track your streak and share your result with friends.
